1000th Issue of RD!!

I am not a voracious reader but reading is one of my favourite hobbies. Did not quite realise how a teeny-tiny baby could change one's life. Anyway, after a couple of years of break and inspired by fellow bloggers(especially, Balaji, and Munimma who with 2 kids, blog, read, watch movies, write stories etc. etc.!!!), I decided to renew my Reader's Digest subscription as a first step. Yesterday, I received my first issue and it was the 1000th issue of RD!! Let's see if I can live up to the challenge of finishing one book in one month!!!!

Good to know that someone is inspired to read through me ;-)

Time management is one of the biggest problems I face. The earlier I get up, the less time I have. I was up before 5, but still got late. As Balaji says, the only thing negotiable is sleep :-)

Aah.. the good ol' RD. I was reading it for around 5 years in India, then we stopped the subscription after I came here.

Now and then, I buy it over the counter. I have to tell you.. the quality (articles and coverage) of the Indian edition was much superior to this one.

Balaji, very true! The prioritisation is were I am weak!! BTW, my 'baby' is going to be 3 soon!

Gangadhar, yes, me too!

Vatsan, a small achievement-a? With so many competetions, I wonder how they are 'thakkupudichufying'!

Munimma, yes. I remember reading a post in your blog about how you wish for extra 1-2 hrs every day.

Deepak, you know, it used to hip to read RD in India! An episode in 'Everybody loves Raymond' about RD was so hilarious.

Keerthi, that is next in my list. And yes, I need some energy!!

Sen, that is a good suggestion. I always listen to music(radio) while working. Haven't tried audio books.
